Public Drinking Water Stations

Having potable water while on the go with family, on a beach or cliff walk, or a day about the beautiful village of Greystones is a must. As part of a campaign to reduce single-use plastic water bottle usage and to promote even healthier, hydrated lifestyles Greystones Tidy Towns and the Municipal Council have a plan to cooperatively install several water drinking stations. So far two water stations have been installed about the village with on at the new bicycle racks on the Northeast corner of Barnaby Park and the other at the South Beach Playground. The allow for direct drinking from a water fountain or easy filling from a bottle refill tap. We hope you enjoy this valuable new infrastructure!

Keep tuned as we install more about the village!
