Beginning our first Solar PV Programme for homes and businesses in Greystones and Delgany. Working towards 10 Solar PV installations by New Years Eve!
We are a voluntary community group, and a subcommittee of GTT, focused on reducing energy use and greenhouse gas emissions in Greystones and Delgany. We are conducting a community-wide survey to learn how local residents use energy. Each household is welcome to fill in this short questionnaire here.
We have also been awarded funding from SEAI, via Wicklow CoCo, to conduct on-site energy surveys on buildings in the community with a view to preparing a plan for introducing appropriate energy reduction measures. A limited number of these on-site surveys will be conducted at no cost to our project participants and professionally administered by 3 Counties Energy Agency, Kilkenny.
