A good night at Wicklow Country Council Tidy Towns & Sustainability Awards. Frank Coyne won a Local Champion Award, the community beds project got a Communal Gardening Award, GTT got the Water – Protection of Resources Award and was commended for the Trees Award and our GDSEC subcommittee won the Energy Award for our Solar Meitheal Programme.
Our GTT nomination for sustainable business (Susan Collins – House of Hair) won, as did our nomination for the water conservation award (Harold Cranston – My Sproutman).
